What We Do

Gathering
Requirements
This is the first step, figuring out what the product should be able to do, its purpose, and what problems it solves. We talk to users and gather their needs.
Brainstorming
Now it's time to get creative! We brainstorm a bunch of ideas and solutions to meet those requirements. No idea is too crazy at this stage!
Hand
Sketcing
We take those ideas and quickly draw them out to visualize them. Sketches are a cheap and fast way to explore different design options of a div block.
3D CAD
Design
We use computer software to create detailed and accurate models of the product. This allows us to make precise adjustments and share the design easily.
Engineering
Simulation
Before building anything, we can test the design virtually on a computer. This helps us identify potential problems and improve the design.
Design For
Manufacturing
We consider how the product will be built. Can it be made with existing tools and materials? This helps keep production costs down.
Engineering
Drawing
These are detailed instructions for building the product. They include measurements, materials, and assembly information.
Electronic
Design
If the product has electrical components, we plan the circuits that power and control its functions. This ensures everything works together.
Robot
Software
Simulation
For robots, we can test their behavior in a computer program before building them. This helps us see if the robot can complete its tasks.
3D
Printing
We build a basic version of the product, a prototype, to see if our design actually works in the real world. We test it and make adjustments as needed.
Prototyping
This technology creates a physical object from a digital model. It's a great way to make prototypes quickly and easily for testing and design iterations.
Rendering
And
Animation
We can create realistic images and videos of the final product design. This helps with presentations, marketing, and visualizing how it will look and function.

Design Process

Idea To Life:

To bring you idea to life, we usually start by translating your idea into a sketch. Research your market and refine your design. After that we create a realistic 3D model that can be manufactured later on. Then we craft a prototype - maybe 3D printed or handmade - to gather feedback and iterate. Lastly, we find a manufacturer! Research options, get quotes, and choose the best fit. Funding might be needed - explore pre-orders or crowdfunding. With a finalized design, secure production and watch your vision become a physical reality!

Recent Projects

Compact PV Cleaning Robot:

OverView
Design a compact and modular solar panel cleaning robot for increased efficiency and ease of use.
PROJECT BRIEF
Develop a solar panel cleaning robot that is lightweight, modular, and easy to deploy. The robot should be divided into five modules, each weighing only 10kg, for convenient transportation and maintenance.
ROLE
Lead mechanical designer, Mechanical Designer
METHOD
We designed a modular system to address limitations in current solar cleaning robots. Five lightweight modules, each with detachable brushes and a robust frame, work together. The concept sketches and requirements were drawn using Fusion 360 software. The 3D models were developed considering the functionality, durability, and manufacturability.

Compact PV Cleaning Robot:

OverView
Develop a fire-fighting robot dog named Fire E Pup for efficient and safe fire suppression in hazardous environments.
PROJECT BRIEF
Design a quadruped robot capable of navigating tight spaces and extinguishing fires remotely. Fire E Pup should be maneuverable and equipped with a heat-resistant water cannon system and CO2 Extinguishers.
ROLE
Mechanical Engineer, R&D Engineer, Embedded Systems Engineer.

Solar Panel Cleaning Robot:

OverView
An innovative solution was required to climb solar panels without hurting the cleaning brushes.
PROJECT BRIEF
Designed a mobile robot with all the requirements given by the client and made a lot of modifications based on my experience with robots. All custom parts were built with design for manufacturing considerations.
ROLE
Lead mechanical designer, Mechanical Designer
METHOD
After some intensive research, the product concept was developed, and then we tried to list down the off-the-shelf components. The parts were modeled in Fusion 360, and motors, mounts, transmissions, bearings, brackets, and fasteners were gradually selected according to the needs.
